The story behind Burritos

Burritos was started by Chef/Owner Brandon Huisman, a Texas native and connoisseur of all things smoked. After working for almost 20 years in kitchens around the globe, he and his wife and partner, Nicole, decided to open their own Texas-style smokehouse in Bali, Goodwood Smokehouse.

The Goodwood name means more than just the fuel for the smoker but is also the locale that inspired Brandon’s love for food, Goodwood Hill where he grew up in Singapore. Burritos is a simple concept that was spawned from the bigger Goodwood brand and endures even after his passing in 2017. His legacy and flare for good food continue on in the Burritos by Goodwood brand and his close family and friends that carry on the name.
